Meet Dr. Gurman And The Team

Dr. Alan Gurman

Dr. Alan Gurman received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He moved to the Denver area and has maintained his practice, serving his patients and his community for over 30 years.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Gurman has worked with many community organizations. He has worked with KIND (Kids in Need of Dentistry), COMOM (The Colorado Mission of Mercy), and as a volunteer dentist for Urban Peak. These organizations provide dental services to children and adults who cannot afford dental care.

His professional membership includes the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Association, Seattle Study Club, along with serving on many committees affiliated with these organizations. He has served on the MDDS board as a director for the past 3 years. Dr. Gurman has been recognized by 5280 magazine as one of Colorado’s “Top Dentists”.

Dr. Gurman’s goal is to treat every patient with respect, educate them on the best treatment available, and deliver the treatment in a kind and professional manner. He continues to improve his skills by attending continuing education courses throughout the year and strives to use the latest technology available.

Dr. Gurman enjoys spending his free time with his wife Esther, the best bridge partner ever. They have one daughter, who is a journalist living in Washington D.C. He also enjoys golf, being an amateur movie buff, reading, and spending as much time as possible in our beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Kelly

Kelly has been living in the Denver area since 1994. She started her dental career while still in High School. Once her children were grown, she decided to go back to what she loves. She has been working for Dr. Gurman for a little over 8 yrs. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her grandkids.  She is the proud owner of a mini dachshund named Otis.

Donna

Donna has been a dental hygienist at Dr. Gurman’s office for over 20 years. She received her degree from the University of Southern Colorado.

A Colorado native, Donna and her husband Curt live in Broomfield. They have two children. Donna is an avid sports fan, especially the Broncos! Her past times include camping, volleyball, and scrapbooking. Donna looks forward to meeting new patients and to continue to treat all the wonderful patients she has seen throughout the years.

Nilo

Nilo Radpour is a Colorado native who spent nearly a decade away from home. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism/Linguistics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. While living in the east coast, she received an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. Nilo is currently a Registered Dental Hygienist. Changing careers has been one of the most satisfying endeavors for her; She enjoys patient care and impacting their lives in a positive manner. When Nilo is not practicing hygiene, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. 

Alondra

Alondra joined the team in 2017, graduated from Dental Assisting school in 2009, and received her EDDA certification in 2009. Alondra is bilingual, so not only does she assist, but she’s also a huge asset in translating for our Spanish speaking patients. Her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the results that cosmetic dentistry can provide for patients.

In her free time, she enjoys working out and taking long walks with her 2 dogs. She also loves spending time with her family: husband Humberto, and son Adrian.

Cortney

Cortney is a Colorado native. Cortney’s curiosity about the Dental field started when family members got her interested.  
She went to school at Academy of Dental Assisting Careers and is now an instructor there as well. Cortney enjoys the outdoors in her free time. She often spends time in the kitchen making new creations. 

Teresa

Teresa joined our team in September 2015. She has been a dental assistant since 2008. Being bilingual makes her an asset in translating for our Spanish speaking patients. Teresa has been married since 2014 and is a mother of two to Antonio and Sophia. She loves to spend her free time with her family and also finds joy in traveling, playing guitar and hiking.
